Gunjan
Sinha ranked among top 50 Asian-American businesspersons
Bangalore: Gunjan Sinha, executive chairman of MetricStream
has been placed on the 'Outstanding 50 Asian Americans
in Business Award' list, having been recognised as one
of the premier Asian-American business executives in the
US by the Asian American Business Development Centre (ABBDC).
Sinha
presented the award at a ceremony held in New York recently.
The
award is presented annually to recognise individuals who
have built successful businesses or who have distinguished
themselves in their communities.
Sinha
has over the last 18 years held various entrepreneurial
board and executive positions. He was the co-founder of
WhoWhere Inc President, a leading internet directory service
company. He also co-founded Viman Software, a network
license management company and Parsec Technologies, an
international BPO firm based in India.

Manmohan
Shetty likely to quit as Adlabs CEO
Mumbai: Bollywood veteran Manmohan Shetty, who built
a powerful processing and multiplex business in Adlabs,
is likely to step down as the CEO early next year.
Shetty,
who is now the chairman and managing director of Adlabs,
has told the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group that
he will quit from operational responsibilities when he
turns 60 in February 2008.
He
is likely to continue as the non-executive chairman, he
has informed the group. Reliance ADA owns 51 per cent
in Adlabs.
It
is not clear as to who will take on the mantle of Adlabs
from Shetty.
