AstraZeneca
appoints Bhaskar Iyer as VP SE Asia, India
Bangalore: AstraZeneca Pharma India has promoted the
MD of its Indian business, Bhasker Iyer, to the post of
area VP, South-East Asia and India. The company said Iyer
is the first person from India to take over the prestigious
position, effective from June 1.

Balasundaram will be the new MD at Bangalore, reporting
to Iyer. Balasundaam was VP sales and marketing. Both
will be part of the Asia- Pacific executive team.

Rawal
takes over as ED of Canara Bank
Mumbai: Canara Bank said D L Rawal has assumed charge
as its executive director. He was earlier general manager
of Punjab National Bank.
Rawal
replaced Alok Kumar Misra and assumed office on June 6,
the bank said.
