Brazilian president comes on India visit
New Delhi:
The Brazilian president, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, arrived in New Delhi on a three-day visit on Sunday leading a 100-member delegation of Ministers and business leaders.

Da Silva would be meeting the prime minister, Dr Manmohan Singh on Monday and is likely to discuss a wide range of issues with him as well as sign a few agreements.

Da Silva will also meet the president, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam; the external affairs minister, Pranab Mukherjee, and the UPA chairperson, Sonia Gandhi apart from a number of Indian industry captains.

India and Brazil work together under the framework of G-4, seeking UN reforms, and also in multilateral forums, including UN, WTO and G-20, besides co-operating under the framework of IBSA (India-Brazil-South Africa) group.
