Coke's Eurasia division to be headed by Bozer
New Delhi: Coca-Cola Inc has announced the appointment of Ahmet Bozer as group president of Eurasia, which includes the India division. Bozer who has been with Coke for 16 years, has mostly held finance-related portfolios.

At the beginning of this year, Coca-Cola Inc had restructured the top-level management team of its Asia-Pacific division, replacing south-east Asia and Pacific Group division head Patrick Siewert with Glenn Jordan.

Bozer's appointment comes at a time when Coca-Cola India, the company which handles all brand related marketing, and its bottling company Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), are in the midst of a $250-million restructuring exercise aimed at overhauling its bottling and distribution operations, under the two CEOs Atul Singh and John Ustas, respectively.

Bozer's appointment is the first big change announced by Coke's new president and chief operating officer Muhtar Kent.
