Aijaz Ali appointed president Green Park Hotels
Hyderabad: Aijaz Ali has been appointed president of Green Park Hotels. The Group has three hotels at Hyderabad, Chennai and Visakhapatnam which are all under further development.

The existing Green Park, Hyderabad, will have another 150 rooms.

Ali will be responsible for overall operations, brand development and expansion, according to a press release here.

Ashok Goel to head Phillips Carbon
Kolkata: Ashok Goel will take over as managing director of Phillips Carbon when Sudhir Sahgal, the longest serving MD of the company, retires on December 31 this year after serving the company from 1991.

PCBL is currently the eighth largest carbon black company in the world and the largest in its category in India.

Goel would formally takeover as managing director from January 1, 2007.

Goel was earlier in RPG group company, KEC International, operating in power transmission.

Sahgal is slated to join as the head of Delhi based real estate giant DLF group, in Kolkata.
