Rakesh Mohan to move to RBI
New Delhi:
The Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) in the Union Finance Ministry, Rakesh Mohan, is being shifted to the Reserve Bank of India as Deputy Governor. He is likely to be relieved from his current post by the end of this month.

According to the grapevine, Mohan is being considered for a posting either at the World Bank, as Executive Director representing India, or to the Reserve Bank as Deputy Governor.

Mohan has held the post of Deputy Governor of RBI in the past.

Ravikumar is new treasury chief at IDFC
Bangalore:
V. Ravikumar has assumed charge as senior director of the Infrastructure Development Finance Company Limited.

Ravikumar will head the treasury operations, including resource mobilisation and investments.

IDFC is focussed wholly on the infrastructure sector. Ravikumar previously headed ING Vysya Bank's treasury section.

SAS CEO named to WEF panel
New Delhi:
The Chief Executive Officer of SAS, Jim Goodnight, has been named to the World Economic Forum's India Steering Committee.

The committee identifies key issues and themes for the annual India Economic Summit of the World Economic Forum and the Confederation of Indian Industry, an SAS release said.

R. Sankaran to hold additional charge as CPCL MD
Chennai:
Consequent to the appointment of S.V. Narasimhan, Managing Director, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd, as Director (Finance) of Indian Oil Corporation, R. Sankaran, Director (Technical), will hold additional charge of the post of Managing Director of CPCL from July 1, it was announced on Tuesday.
