FIIs net sales in equities at Rs.446.6 crore
Mumbai: Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) recorded net sales of Rs446.6 crore ($102.4 million) in equities for the trading week ended May 20 while mutual funds (MFs) were net purchasers at Rs1125.39 crore.

The foreign funds were net sellers at Rs61.9 crore ($14 million) in the debt market for the period under review, according to the data available with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) here. The mutual funds were net purchasers in the debt market at Rs 1024.6 crore.

The Stock Exchange, Mumbai, (BSE) during the week under review, saw the Sensex gaining 47.56 points to close at 6499.50 points.
