Markets: FIIs net buyers in equities and bonds
Mumbai: While the foreign institutional investors (FIIs) recorded net purchases of Rs2,847.5 crore in equities for the trading week ended March 18, mutual funds (MFs) were net purchasers at Rs179.56 crore for the same period.

The foreign funds were also net purchasers at Rs148.4 crore in the debt market for the period under review, according to the data available with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
The mutual funds made net purchases in the debt market of Rs277.43 crore.
