UTV Software makes debut at premium
Mumbai: Shares of UTV Software Communications Ltd made their debut on BSE at Rs165 as against the IPO price of Rs130 per share. After moving up to a high of Rs175.40, they closed at Rs168.50 on BSE. On NSE, it listed at Rs150.

The initial public offering of UTV Software Communications Ltd was for Rs91 crore and the company received bids for about 18.5 crore shares.

The proceeds from the IPO will be used for enhancement of production facility and office infrastructure, investment in the Kids Channel (Hungama TV), funding of SFX and post-production expansion, investment in movie production and distribution initiatives and general corporate purposes.

The net issue to public constituted 34.11 per cent of the fully diluted post issue paid-up capital of the company.

SEBI ban continues on promoters of Kolar Biotech, Soundcraft Ind
Mumbai: SEBI has reiterated its earlier order against 58 entities prohibiting them in dealing with the securities of Kolar Biotech (KBL), Soundcraft Industries Ltd (SIL) and Adam Comsof (ACL).

Earlier in September 2004, SEBI had restrained these 58 entities from dealing in the securities of KBL, SIL and ACL till investigations are complete. The 58 entities against whom the interim orders were issued, were either promoters, or directors or major shareholders of KBL, SIL and ACL who were major sellers in the scrip.

In its latest order market regulator has restrained these 58 entities from buying, selling or dealing in any manner the shares of KBL, SIL and ACL.
