Bilt board recast following VM Thapar’s resignation
New Delhi
--V M Thapar, joint managing director, Ballarpur Industries has resigned from the board of directors of the company. The board has been reconstituted after his resignation.
B Hariharan, chief financial officer, was inducted as a whole-time director. M J Subbaiah will now represent ICICI on the reconstituted board in place of Sandeep Bakshi.
These changes were approved by the board at its meeting held on Thursday, a company statement said.
Now the board of directors of Bilt consist of: L M Thapar (chairman), Gautam Thapar (vice-chairman and managing director), M J Subbaiah (nominee of ICICI), G P Kohli (nominee of LIC), K G Vassal (nominee of UTI), K K Nayyar, Ram S Tarneja, M M Thapar, Cherif Sedky, R R Vederah (director, operations) and B Hariharan (director, finance).
