Hasmukh Shah on Sun Pharma board
Mumbai: The former chairman
of Indian Petrochemicals Corporation and joint secretary to the prime minister, Mr.
Hasmukh Shah, has been appointed a non-executive director on the board of Sun
Pharmaceutical Industries
Mr. Shah, who is also the chairman of
Gujarat Gas, will now help the company in its corporate governance efforts.

ICICI reshuffles board
Mumbai: With the reappointment of Mr. K.
V. Kamath as managing director and chief executive officer for a further period of five
years, the ICICI group has also brought about changes in the board.
Senior general managers Ms. Kalpana Morparia and Mr S Mukherji have been appointed as
executive directors for a period of five years with effect from May 1.
Mr Anupam Tino Puri,
former partner of McKinsey & Company, has been appointed as a non-wholetime director
on the board from May 3. Mr SH Bhojani, currently deputy managing director, is to retire
from the board with effective from April 22.
On the board of ICICI Bank, Ms Chanda
Kochhar and Dr Nachiket Mor have been appointed as executive directors for a period of
five years from April 1.
Ms Kochhar, who was currently responsible
for personal financial services, will now head the retail banking group. Dr. Mor will be
responsible for the corporate banking group, which was being overseen by Mr PH Ravi Kumar,
senior vice-president , who is now being moved ICICI as senior general manager.
