Mr. Nayan Parikh is infrastructure
advisor to Chattisgarh
Ahmedabad: Mr. Nayan Parikh, a leading
city-based infrastructure consultant has been appointed advisor on infrastructure
development to the government of the newly created state of Chattisgarh. The appointment
is believed to be part of Chattisgarh chief minister Mr. Ajit Jogi's strategy to rope in
the private sector in the infrastructure development of the state.
Mr. Parikh will advise the state
government in all areas of infrastructure development, with special focus on
transportation, power, water, urban development and information technology.
Mr.Parikhs appointment closely follows that of Mr. Jairam Ramesh as economic advisor
to Chattisgarh.
Mr. Nayan Parikh, is currently the
chairman of Confederation of Indian Industries' (CII) Gujarat infrastructure development
council.

Mr. Kaushik Roys
rejoins Mudra Communications
Mumbai: Mr. Kaushik Roy, CEO, new ventures, Modi Entertainment has rejoined Mudra
Communications as executive director to be based in Mumbai. Mr. Roy has earlier worked
with Mudra for almost six-years before he left the agency in 1998, as the chief operating
officer, Mumbai to join Philips as head, corporate brand strategy.
He succeeds Mr.Rahul Kansal, who left for Leo Burnett six months ago. Mr. Roy will be
inducted on the board of the agency, which has equity link with international ad network
DDB Needham. He will also be CEO of Mudra Videotech.

Mr. Suresh Krishna, SFL
chief gets JRD Tata award
New Delhi: Mr. Suresh Krishna, chairman and managing director, Sundaram Fastners Ltd.
has been awarded the JRD Tata Corporate Leadership instituted by TataChem Golden Jubilee
Foundation and administered by the All India Management Association (AIMA).
The award was presented to him by Mr.
IK Gujral, former prime minister at a function held on Thursday. Mr. Krishna is the sixth
recipient of the award, after Mr. Aditya Vikram Birla, Mr. Deepak Parekh, Mr. NR Narayana
Murthy, Dr R Mashelkar and Mr. Azim Premji.
