Reliance and Infosys rated best-managed Asian firms
London: Reliance Industries and
Infosys, have been voted as the best-managed companies in their field in Asia, according
to the fifth annual survey of the best-managed companies in Asia.
The results of the survey were published
in the latest issue of Euromoney magazine
Reliance Industries Ltd. tops the
petrochemicals sector for the second year in a row, while Infosys Ltd. leads the
information technology sector.

Largest pharma retail
chain formed
Mumbai: The Retail and Dispensing Chemists' Association (RDCA) of the Indian pharma
industry has formed a cooperative society of existing retail outlets to be at par with the
global retail chains.
The new entity would begin its operations
soon with its 500 members and would be further enlarged to accommodate about 2000 chemists
in Mumbai alone.
With an estimated turnover of more than Rs
400 crore in the very first year of operation, the new initiative is expected to rework
retailers relations with the Indian pharma industry.
