Mr. J K Jain assumes charge as CMD of GAIL
New Delhi: Mr. J K Jain has been appointed as chairman and managing director of Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL). Mr. Jain succeeds Mr. CR Prasad, who retired on January 31, 2001. The new CMD would continue to hold the additional charge of director, finance, in the company.
