Mr. PS Subramanyam takes over as ILFS chairman
Mumbai: Mr. PS Subramanyam, formerly chairman of the Unit Trust of India has taken over as the new chairman of the Infrastructure Leasing & Finance Services (IL&FS). He succeeds Mr. Deepak Parekh, chairman of Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC), who resigned from the post.

The post of chairman of IL&FS is on a rotation between HDFC, UTI and Central Bank of India.

Mr. Subramanyam’s appointment takes effect from February 1, 2001.
