Mr. AV Jayachander moves back to ICICI Bank
Chennai: Mr. A V Jayachander, a leading venture capitalist and managing director and & chief executive officer of ICICI Venture is moving to ICICI Bank. Mr Jayachander will spearhead the ICICI Bank's new business group called small- and -medium enterprises.

A decision to this effect was taken at the recent board meeting of ICICI held last week in Mumbai. The SMEs segment has been identified as a major growth area for ICICI Bank.
Mr. Jayachander, who is expected to join the bank very shortly, will have to set up the new division from start.
