8 new group heads appointed by StanChart
Mumbai: In the third phase of its integration process, StanChart Grindlays is set to appoint eight group heads.

These are Mr. Navneet Singh, to look after multinational clients, Mr. Ashok Sood for local corporates, Mr. G Kadan for transactions, Mr. Pradip Venkatrao for portfolio management and four regional corporate banking heads, Mr. Sunil Chopra (west), Mr. Sujit Mondal (east), Ms. Kavita Venugopal (north) and Mr. Rajiv Kulkarni (south).

While the bank is creating a talent pool to accommodate some of those who are affected by teh restructuring, it is also likely to offer "redundancy" package to several senior executives who do not find a notch in the new setup.

In the second phase the bank had cleared the appointment of a few key officials who would directly report to Mr. Jaspal Bindra, the general manager and country head. They are Mr. Somen Basu, chief operating officer, Mr. Sanjeev Agrawal, head of finance, Mr. Jeswant Nair, head of human resources, Mr. Ajoy Kumar, head of facilities, Mr. John Masters, head of treasury, and Mr. Kris Babcci, head of credit.

Citigroup appoints new head for global loans
Mumbai: Mr. Moshsin Nathani has been appointed the head of global loans for Asia at the American banking group, Citigruop. Mr. Nathani, who comes from ABN Amro, will join as the managing director, thus succeeding Mr. Avi Bindra, who has announced his retirement from Citigroup.

Mr. Nathani has 11 years of banking experience, initially with Citibank, and subsequently with ABN Amro.
