Indian to become chief information
officer at Kelloggs
New York: An
India-born American, Rajan Nagarajan, has been appointed as vice president and chief
information officer of cereals giant, Kellogg Company.
Mr. Nagarajan, who was earlier with Ford
Motor Company where he served as director of enterprise processes, is said to bring with
him not just outstanding technology experience, but also exceptional people, organisation,
and leadership skills to this critically-important role for Kellogg Company.
During his career at Ford, he held many key IT positions supporting product development
and engineering, technical services, marketing and sales, human resources and finance. He
also led Fords IT efforts in the Asia-Pacific region.
Mr. Nagarajan has a bachelor of science
degree in mechanical engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science,
Pilani, Rajasthan, a masters in business administration from the Indian Institute of
Management in Calcutta, and a master of science degree in computer science from Oakland
University in Rochester, Michigan.
