Saboo takes over from Agarwala at AV Birla textile operations
Mumbai: Mr. S K Saboo, executive president at group flagship Grasim Industries, has taken charge of the AV Birla group's textiles business, following the retirement of director, Mr. S B Agarwala. The group’s textile business includes operations of Grasim as well as Indian Rayon. However, the apparels, fabrics and branded garments business of the group will continue to remain under the charge of Mr. Vikram Rao.

The two old hands of the group who have retired from the committee are Mr. B L Shah, who had the chemicals portfolio, and Mr. Agarwala, who was in charge of textiles.
