Hindustan Motors loses yet another senior person
Calcutta:
Close on the heels of losing its executive vice president, the country’s oldest car manufacturing company, Hindustan Motors Ltd., saw its vice president (marketing) Mr. C.K. Rao, put in his papers. Mr. Rao was in charge of the company’s Lancer project.

Earlier, a little less than a month ago, Mr. R. Santhanam, the company’s executive vice president had resigned. After Santhanam's exit, the CK Birla-led management placed the Lancer project under Mr. Rao while the Ambassador project and the Uttarpara plant in West Bengal were placed under executive director Mr. A Sankarnarayanan.
