Kaushik Roy quits Philips to join Equus
Mumbai : Mr. Kaushik Roy, head (corporate affairs) at Philips India , has quit to join Equus Advertising, as chief executive officer, after at two year stint with the company.

Prior to Philips, Mr. Roy was associated with well-known advertising firms like HTA, Mudra and others.

Trehan set to be Crompton Greaves MD
Mumbai : It is said that the board of directors of Crompton Greaves, have approved the name of Mr. S. M Trehan, president, digital division, to take over as managing director of the company from current incumbent, Mr. K K Nohria, on Tuesday, May 2, 2000. Mr. Nohria is said to have been asked to continue as chairman.

The digital division contributed about 4 per cent of the company's total turnover of Rs 1693 crore in 1998-99.

Three other directors on the board Ranjan Dasgupta, C P Dusad and T K Mukherjee have also requested to be relieved from the services of the company on reaching the age of superannuation.
