Dr Reddys, Reliance
Petro, Satyam, Zee enter Sensex
Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange has revamped its 30-share Sensex once again. This
time it has brought in four new shares to replace four older ones.
The new introductions are Dr. Reddy's Laboratories,
Reliance Petroleum, Satyam Computer Services, and Zee Telefilms. The ones that have been
removed from the 30-share basket are Indian Hotels Co, Industrial Development Bank of
India, Tata Chemicals, and Tata Power.
According to a BSE press release, the changes will be
effective 20 April 2000.

Badla rates
down
Mumbai: With badla financiers bringing in more funds into the market, badla finance
rates remained depressed last week. The rates were stable around 16 per cent, against 18
per cent in the previous week. The highest badla volumes were registered in Satyam
Computer, Himachal Futuristic Communications, and Zee Telefilms.
