Rajendra Pawar nominated CEO of the year
Mumbai: NIIT’s managing director and chief executive officer Rajendra Pawar has been named the CEO of the year by the Times-Ascent and Sodexho Pass Asia Pacific Human Resources Conclave. Over 5,000 middle and senior level human resources professionals voted in a survey to select the nominees. 

The conclave also conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award on Dr J.J. Irani, mananging director, Tata Iron and Steel Company.

Disney senior staffer quits
Burbank: Studio chairman of Walt Disney Company Joe Ruth has resigned. He is forming a film company after running Disney’s movie group for five years. 

Disney promoted studio president Peter Schneider to fill Mr Roth’s position.
