Lloyd-Webber buys London
theatre
London: Londons leading composer Andrew Lloyd-Webber is buying one
of Britains top theatre companies, Stoll Moss. The deal is for $139.4 million, which
will make him one of Londons biggest theatre-owners. Stoll Moss has a chain of
famous theatres such as Palladium, the Garrick, Her Majestys and the Theatre Royal
Drury Lane. Mr Lloyd-Webber, who has composed hit musicals like "Cats" and
"The Phantom of the Opera", has been in a bitter fight with US entrepreneur Max
