Badla rates at 32.5 per cent
Mumbai: Average badla rates on the Bombay Stock Exchange settled around 32.5 per cent in the carry forward session on 18 December. The badla rates did not witness any sharp increase despite the outstanding positions remaining the in the range of Rs 160 crore. The net outstanding position carried forward to the next settlement stood at Rs 3,121 crore compared to Rs 2,960 crore in the past week. Satyam Computer saw the highest badla volume of 11.13 lakh shares worth Rs 214 crore. It attracted an average badla rate of 31.8 per cent.

ICO delisted from Nasdaq
New York: ICO Global Communications, the satellite telephone company, which has sought bankruptcy protection, has been delisted from Nasdaq with effect from 16 December. The company said its stock will not be traded on the Nasdaq.
