K.K. Iyer is partner of Andersen
Mumbai: K.K. Iyer is the new associate partner of Andersen Consulting. He
will be part of the leadership team of the consulting company in its change management
practice in India. An engineer by qualification, Mr Iyer has been with Andersen Consulting
for nearly nine years. He has project experience across chemicals, transportation,
textiles and steel industries.

Mumbai: Vimal Kejriwal, associate vice-president and company secretary of
Mangalore Refinery and Chemicals, has joined Essar Oil as chief financial officer. He will
be part of a team led by S.R. Agarwal, director, finance, Essar.
Essar Oil is slated to compelte work on its refinery
project by April 2001.

Panel named for Essar
project viability study
Mumbai: Financial institutions led by ICICI has constituted a five-member
team of oil industry experts to study the viability of the 19.5 million tonne Essar
refinery at Jamnagar. The members of the committee are: A.N. Saxena, former joint
secretary and finance advisor in petroleum ministry, A.J. Tauro, former chairman of Indian
Oil Corporation, J. Jayaraman, former chairman of Cochin Refineries, Vijay Raina, former
director (marketing), Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Mahendra Prakash, former director
of Engineers India.
