Expatriate CEO for Birla-Sun Life AMC
Mumbai: Jeremy Beswick, head of the London operations of Massachusetts Financial Services, a subsidiary of Sun Life, has been appointed the new chief executive officer of Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company. Mr Beswick will relocate to Mumbai.

At present, the company's operations are jointly managed by Subrata K. Mitra and Sunny Oberoi. Kumar Mangalam Birla is the chairman of the company. The Aditya Vikram Birla group and Sun Life have equal representation on the board of the company.

Neeraj Kumar on Apollo Tyres board
New Delhi: Neeraj Kumar, the 29-year-old son of Onkar S. Kanwar, promoter of Apollo Tyres, has been nominated to the board of the Rs 1,150-crore tyre company. Industry sources say the move indicates that Neeraj Kumar is being groomed to succeed Mr Kanwar.

Neeraj Kumar, a graduate in industrial engineering with specialisation in manufacturing systems, has been chief (manufacturing & strategic planning) of Apollo Tyres since 1997. He began his career as a trainee in the company over five years ago.
