Depositories yet to make connectivity
Mumbai: The National Securities Depository and Central Depository Services, the two depository services, are yet to evolve a solution to their inter-connectivity problem. The two depositories have not reached any understanding on inter-depository traders.

The deadlock will affect secondary market operations, as transfers from one depository to another would become difficult. Central Depository Services, sponsored by the Bombay Stock Exchange, has not yet commenced its operations due to lack of connectivity.
