Market ends flat: Realty, pharma, IT stocks up

The
markets ended flat on account of lack of buying interest
in scrips across sectors. selective buying was seen in
realty, pharma and IT stocks. However, FMCG, consumer
durables and auto stocks were trading weak.
Broader markets outperformed the benchmark indices, BSE Midcap was up 0.5% and BSE smallcap was up 0.8%.
Top gainers on the indices are Cipla, Relaince Energy, Tata Power, Grasim and Infosys.
Top losers on the indices are NTPC, BHEL, Zee Entertainment, Hindalco, BPCL, Tata Motors and ITC.
Sensex was up 43.35 points or 0.28% at 15465.40, and the Nifty up 4.50 points or 0.10% at 4479.25.
About 1867 shares have advanced, 1086 shares declined, and 66 shares are unchanged.
