The markets spiked in the late trade after witnessing sluggish trade for most of the day on triple witching day. Turnover hit record high for the third day. The turnover was at record high of over Rs 1 lakh crore.

To be precise, total market turnover at Rs 1.01 lakh crore and NSE cash turnover was at Rs 15438.55 crore and the NSE F&O turnover was at Rs 79995.85 crore. The BSE cash turnover was Rs 5727.04 crore.

It has been a spectacular July series for the markets. Nifty was up 7% in July series so far; it has been record F&O turnover for last 3 Days

Relaince Energy, Sail L&T, BHEL were among the top series gainers.

In today's trade real estate stocks HDIL was up 7%, Unitech was up 4%. In the Nifty gainers: Ranbaxy Up 9%,Cipla, Tata Power,HCL Tech Up 4%
