Hotmail co-founder Sabeer Bhatia has teamed up with Neel Naicker to launch Asset Management Platform (AMP) Technologies in India. The company will offer access to critical investment information from any PC, laptop, tablet or mobile device for commercial real estate investors.
The cloud-based software and services company plans to recruit 1,000 employees by 2015.
The AMP platform will offer products and services in the commercial real estate space to investors, owners and operators, said a company release.
"AMP is a cloud-based real estate asset management platform, and there is no need for the installation of hardware, software, databases, maintenances or upgrades," Sabeer Bhatia, co-founder and chairman of AMP Technologies, said.
"We have formed this company in 2010 and since then a lot of R&D has gone into developing our products. Earlier this year, AMP Technologies created an offshore services offering to provide commercial real estate investors, owners and operators with lease administration, finance and accounting, and due diligence services," said Neel Naicker, co-founder and CEO of AMP Technologies.
AMP has opened a new 250-seat facility in Chennai that will focus on future IT development of the platform and deliver lease administration, finance and accounting, and due diligence services using the AMP platform, Naicker said, adding, that the company has targeted 1,000 employees by the end of calendar year 2015 to service its global clients.
