Brocade Communications executives convicted for backdating stock options news

A federal jury has convicted Stephanie Jensen, the former personnel director of Brocade Communications Systems, on charges of conspiracy and falsifying records, on Wednesday 5 December.

The jury in the Federal District Court in San Francisco deliberated about a day. Jensen is the second former Brocade executive to be found guilty in an options-backdating case. Sentencing is set for 12 March.

Brocade''s former chief executive Gregory L Reyes is also awaiting sentencing, after a separate jury in the same courtroom convicted him four months ago on 10 counts related to options-backdating.
