Zenith Computers, for its part, has launched laptops priced under Rs25,000.

The `Director'' laptop model is priced at Rs24,990, and comes packed with an Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor, plus the Windows Vista Starter Edition.

Two other models, the Admirale and the Presidio, are priced at Rs28,490 and Rs27,990 respectively.
