20 December 2005
Hyderabad: Talent acquisition and retention solutions provider Kenaxa has been included in the Software 500, Software Magazine's list of the world's foremost software and services providers. This achievement is in addition to Kenexa's recent recognition as a Forbes.com 'best of the web' pick in the human resource category for the third consecutive year.

The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world's largest software and services suppliers targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers and business managers involved in software and services purchasing. The list includes private as well as public companies like Kenexa. The company came out with an initial public offering in June this year.

"The overall health of the software and services industries has improved and continues to thrive. This year we welcomed nearly 100 new companies, including Kenexa, to the 2005 Software 500 list," said John P. Desmond, editor of Software Magazine and Softwaremag.com. "The list has become a valuable resource for CIOs, senior IT managers and IT staff for researching their vendor partner options."

The Software 500 ranking is based on total worldwide software  and service revenue for 2004. This includes revenues from software licenses, maintenance and support, training and software-related services and consulting.
