Mumbai: Andy Srinivasan, managing director, Storage Technology Corporation (NYSE:STK), has been promoted regional director Asia South Pacific responsible for South Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Korea.

Srinivasan was responsible for starting the company's operations in Malaysia and Singapore and also converting them into fully operational subsidiaries and expanding operations in to India. Apart from developing distributor operations in Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia.

An MBA from the India Institute of Management - Ahmedabad, he has also done his advance management programme from the Harvard Business School.
