New York: The
Karnataka road show on information technology, business
process outsourcing (BPO) and biotechnology held in New
York has received good response with more than 100 New
York-based corporate executives attending it.
People like KPMG Consulting senior vice-president Judy
List, ADP senior vice-president Campbell Langdon, US-India
Business Council executive director Michael Clark were
present as guests of honour.
The Karnataka Millennium BPO Policy was released by Nasdaq
vice-chairman David Weild. The policy outlines the various
government and private sector initiatives in the BPO space,
along with nominal subsidies that are being provided.
Later, Karnataka
IT secretary Vivek Kulkarni met several corporate
executives and invited them to look at the state for future
investments.
