Haworth India''s plant to start production from Feb 2006

Chennai: Office furniture manufacturer Haworth India Pvt Ltd's $10-million facility in Pune will start commercial production from February 2006 onwards. According to general manager Kapil Agarwal, the company is also setting up two new showrooms in Mumbai and Bangalore.

"We foresee a continued annual growth of over 30 per cent for the next three years," says Agarwal. At present the company has showrooms in Bangalore, New Delhi and Mumbai.

He expects the company to close this year with a turnover of $20 million. Haworth has been working with global and local companies in India to provide workspace solutions since 1997. Amongst the global office furniture brands present in India, Haworth has a market share of over 65 per cent.
