Malaysia`s Airasia named Asia`s Airline of The Year
02 November 2007Mumbai: The Centre for Asia-Pacific Aviation (CAPA) has named Malaysian low-cost carrier Airasia Asia` as Asia''s Airline of The Year for 2007.
The award was presented by CAPA executive chairman Peter Harbison to Airasia`s group chief executive Tony Fernandes, at the fourth annual Aviation Outlook Summit.
Tourism Malaysia won the National Tourism Organisation of the Year Award.
The CAPA`s Airline Of The Year 2007 award is the highest level of recognition and honour to Airasia, Asia`s biggest and most successful budget airline, for its notable achievement in the aviation industry and outstanding contribution since its establishment in 2001.
