Nagpur bank chairman under CID probe news

Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party leader and Nagpur District Central Cooperative Bank chairman Sunil Kedars passport will be impounded and a central intelligence department probe will be conducted into the alleged embezzlement of Rs 150 crore by the bank, Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh told the state legislative assembly on 29 April.

The cooperation department, in tandem with the home department, will conduct a thorough investigation within a month to detect any irregularities in other district and urban cooperative banks across the state, Deshmukh said.
