Kolkata: The All-India Reserve Bank Employees Association and the All-India Reserve Bank Workers Federation have, in a joint statement, said the bank strike on 16 April has been total.

The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), too, has called the strike a complete success. UFBU has expressed its gratitude to the people for their whole-hearted support to the fight against the governments anti-labour policies. Such policies were exhibited through certain reforms in the financial sector.
