IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects Ltd has secured orders worth Rs3,100 crore from the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) for building one of the largest toll road projects in the country.

The contract is for four laning and partly six laning of a 122.06 km stretch of National Highway 17 between Maharashtra-Goa border and Goa-Karnataka border, the company said in a release.

The project is scheduled for completion in 36 months for the highway portion and 48 months for building a bridge over the Zuari river in Goa.

The company will start collecting toll after completion of the highway portion.

Hyderabad-based IVRCL currently has 11 projects worth around Rs11,150 crore under the build, operate and transfer (BOT) mode.

IVRCL, which took a hit last fiscal on account of a spike in income tax, expects its order book to rise to Rs32,000 crore in the current financial year on fresh government orders.
