New Delhi: Railway
minister Lalu Prasad Yadav kept freight and passenger
rates unchanged in the railway budget for the financial
year to March, 2005.
India's
railways is one of the world's largest networks, running
almost 14,000 trains daily, and is also the world's
largest single employer.
It
accounts for about three per cent of federal spending.
