Delhi: The 53rd
Indian Pharmaceutical Congress will be held in New Delhi from 21 to 23
December 2001.
This will be a mega event for CEOs and top executives from the
pharmaceutical industry, officers from regulatory departments,
pharmacists from the trade and profession, research and development
personnel, pharmaceutical consultants, hospital administrators, top
officials of Central and state agencies, academicians and teachers
from medical and pharmacy colleges. Delegates in thousands from all
over India and other countries drawn from different specialised fields
are expected to attend the congress.
Concurrent to the congress, Pharma Expo 2001, an international
exhibition on the pharma industry will be organised by FICCI, the apex
body of Indias businesses and industries. Top-quality personnel
including decision-makers for procurement of bulk drugs, machinery,
packaging materials, ancillary equipment and services will visit the
exhibition. In addition, about 5,000 delegates to the congress will
also visit this exhibition during the three-day period. The exhibition
