The engineering units of central public sector enterprises (CPSEs) achieved a turnover during August 2007 of Rs1,582.54 crore, exceeding a target of Rs1,422.69 crore. The turnover of non-engineering units for the month was Rs149.11 crore against a target of Rs128.61 crore, while the turnover of consultancy / contract units was Rs.119.06 crore against a target of Rs.113.96 crore.
