New Delhi: Spice Telecom, Punjab''s leading cellular service provider, today announced an exciting and a unique contest for in-roamers who log on to the Spice network while visiting Punjab.

From today all in-roamers choosing the Spice network while roaming in Punjab will be become eligible for a daily lucky dip, wherein they could win a free three-day-two-night stay for a couple in one of Goa''s most admired five-star hotel, Cidade de Goa. This offer, valid till 13 September 2003, will have 25 winners each day starting from 20 August 2003.

This is a unique and a simple contest wherein an in-roamer just needs to log on to the Spice network to win this grand prize. The free offer includes daily breakfast, airport transfers, half-a-day city tour and complimentary trip to Panjim; and is inclusive of all hotel taxes.

Says Spice Telecom general manager (marketing) Swarn Bajaj: "As the Diwali season is fast approaching we wanted to offer something really exciting and beneficial to mobile subscribers coming into Punjab — hence this special offer. So now in-roamers apart from getting to use the best network in Punjab can also win these exciting holidays."

Cidade de Goa is located on the Vainguinim beach between a green hill and the deep blue sea — the sort of setting that can turn even the most ordinary person romantic. The resort built on 40 acres of lush greenery, has been created to resemble a self-contained Portuguese hill hamlet (the resort''s unique architectural grandeur, earned an international RIBA Award). As one steps into the lobby, one is greeted with a spectacular view of the Arabian Sea, unmatched anywhere in Goa.

Adds Bajaj: "We are excited to be able to offer to our in-roamers a free stay in one of Goa''s most loved and admired five-star hotels."

Spice is Punjab''s premier mobile phone service provider and is the first cellular operator in India to be ISO 9001-2000 certified for its entire operations. Spice has an extensive network across over 165 cities and towns in the state, covering 95 per cent of Punjab''s urban area.

In addition, it also covers more than 2,500 km of roads and highways in Punjab including connectivity on the national highway, GT Road. Spice has the highest international roaming coverage with tie-ups with over 275 international operators in 160 countries.
