Canara Bank uses Polaris solution for its credit card

Chennai: Public sector bank Canara Bank, has completed its rollout of countrywide automated credit card solution using `Intellect Cards'' from Polaris Software Lab Limited. The bank has opted the new solution as it has plans to increase its credit card client base from 1.25 million to more than five million.

According to Polaris Software officials the Canara Bank project involved implementing solutions for managing card issuance and acquiring, fraud management, authorisation, loyalty management, debit card management, and collections. The solution was implemented at the head office of the Canara Bank card operations in Bangalore and enables card management across the 2500 branches.
