MobileFirst starts matrimonial services for mobile customers news

New Delhi: MobileFirst, an alliance of leading cellular operators in India has announced the launch of a new revolutionary matrimonial service, Life Partner, which that will enable MobileFirst subscribers to find their prospective life partners through their mobile phones.

Committed to offering innovative and latest services, the MobileFirst alliance is heralding the enhanced value services revolution in India. The alliance has adopted a ''product lifecycle'' strategy, wherein products and services will be created to cater to the needs of MobileFirst subscribers across their lifecycle (like chat for teenagers and mobile banking for the corporate employee).

MobileFirst subscribers can enrol into the service by sending the command "LIFE" to 6311. On receipt of the response from 6311, the customers will be sent a series of questions that will enable them to create their own profile/matrimonial ad. The profile will list down the age, mother tongue, location, qualification, occupation, caste and a small description of the aspirant and s/he will be allocated a unique user ID corresponding to his/her description. Once the aspirant has created his/her profile, s/he will be able to create a profile of his/her prospective partner on similar lines, which will help him/her to search his/her prospective mate.

To find a match, the user has to simply send "F" to 6311. Once that is done, the user can view the different profiles and subsequently initiate a discussion with the prospective match by sending "T" followed by user ID of short-listed match to 6311. At any moment, the user can also block any other user which means that the other person''s profile will no longer be visible to that user and neither will that person be able to send any messages to him/her. For the convenience of users, there also exists the facility to create/update the profile on the website ().

Says Spice Telecom (Karnataka) managing director Sean Dexter: "The product lifecycle approach forms the corner stone of our strategy. Towards this end, MobileFirst will create various communities of interest, which leverage mobile telephony to interact and share with each other.
