HM rolls out Lancer Exel

To commemorate the fifth anniversary of Hindustan Motors' Mitsubishi Lancer, HM today announced the launch of a limited edition Lancer — Lancer Exel. The Lancer Exel marks the beginning of a series of initiatives that HM will undertake to further enhance the "unique ownership experience" promised to its discerning customers.
These initiatives include:
- Product development and innovation: To be able to sustain product leadership, HM has plans to introduce a series of Lancer models within the next two years.
- Service network expansion: HM plans to open nearly 20 service outlets across the country in the coming 12 months.
Manufactured at HM's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, the Chennai car plant at Thiruvallur near Chennai, HM will manufacture and sell only 200 units of the Lancer Exel. The Chennai car plant has been named as one of the best knocked-down plant outside of Japan by Mitsubishi Motor Corporation.
