Carolina Herrera launches a classic and feminine fragrance

New Delhi: Carolina Herrera, the leading international fragrance brand with some of the most exquisite fragrances under its banner, has unveiled its latest offering called Carolina Eau de Toilette. The fragrance is a representation of the designer herself in her young youthful days, and is aptly named Carolina.

The key ingredients, bitter orange and wild strawberry, transmit a young touch while flower petals accent femininity and pepper combined with wild berries gives it vitality. Carolina takes inspiration from its traditional look. The bottle is the same timeless design of the Carolina Herrera Eau de Perfume, a mythical bottle launched in 1988 but updated with a gold and transparent finish. Carolina is packed in the same original graphic icon of Carolina Herrera, the Polka Dot. However, the Polka dots are now reinterpreted in a new manner endowed with a modern and dynamic yet elegant style.

This year Carolina Herrera celebrates her 15th anniversary of the original Carolina Herrera fragrance, a heady romantic mixture of tuberose and jasmine essences that are the designer''s favourite scents. In a business marked by short product life span, Carolina Herrera''s fragrance brand continues to rank in the top list of fragrances worldwide.

The first fragrance, Carolina Herrera was launched in 1988 followed by the launch of Herrera for Men in 1991. In 1997, 212 was launched, which was complimented by 212 Men in 1999. The brand since then has become the most desired brand in the fragrance category.
