Canon opens its first image lounge at Gurgaon

Mumbai: Canon India has announced its first ever brand showroom in the country called Canon Image Lounge, "where customers can touch, feel and try out products".

The Image lounge is a new concept at providing customers with a comprehensive display of Canon's range of consumer offerings in a non-selling environment. The store was inaugurated by Kensaku Konishi, president and CEO, Canon India and Alok Bharadwaj, senior vice president, Canon India.

Spread over 2000 square feet at Ambience Mall in Gurgaon, the state-of-the-art image lounge provides a platform for Canon's new products and technologies that the company would like to showcase and allow potential customers to experience.

Canon's Image Lounge will host the entire product range of consumer product offerings such as printers, scanners, projectors, digital cameras, digital camcorders and All-in-One devices.

Speaking on the occasion, Kensaku Konishi, president and CEO of Canon India said, ''It's a momentous occasion for us at Canon. Canon's Image lounge is a unique 'first of its kind' concept in India serving as a guide for the digital enthusiasts by providing a 'before-you-buy' experience & information. This initiative is first of its kind in the industry and we aim to capitalise on the niche created to enhance brand awareness.
